Travel Guide: TakTak Falls in Siargao Island

Travel Guide: TakTak Falls in Siargao Island

“Memory is the basis of every journey.” – ?Stephen King, Dreamcatcher

Visiting Taktak falls is quite complicated not just because of the lengthy ride but also with the unpaved roads that makes your trip tiring even so must agree, How you reached the place are invariably a great component of your travel tale.

After more than two hours associated with butt numbing Habal-habal drive, we finally arrived at Taktak Falls in the area of Santa Monica. I like to view some natural beauty while i visit a place, and on Siargao Island, one of the?Buddha’ohydrates Surf Resort‘s?employees suggested that we pay a visit to Taktak falls before visiting Magpupungko Rock Pool.

Before anything else allow me to share the nice things about TakTak Is catagorized:

  • The spot is secured.
  • Some work has been placed in making it a traveller attraction.
  • You can transfer closer to the thrilling and enjoy cool normal water.
  • The waterfalls is just very close to the highway.

Now to the reality check. Your waterfalls are not big or impressive in a particular way. This is no Niagara Falls and i have seen more stunning waterfalls elsewhere from the Philippines. My emotion is that the fact that habal-habal journey is widely available – there is a road, not a excellent road, but it exists – has attracted visitors who didn’t need to hike but wished to see something one of a kind apart from the beautiful beach locations in Siargao.

The road and the subsequent readers brought in people who considered they’d make a few bucks on those tourists. And the region has been developed a little bit in order to turn it in an attraction with some infrastructure.

A lot of people I spoke to ended up unhappy that they had to repay a fee to see TakTak Declines. Again, I recognized in advance so I had not been bothered. But I imagine having that if you made the trip out there, often that the falls weren’t so impressive, and were asked for money right away, you might be suspicious.

All in all, it’s a nice trip, it’s quite refreshing out there after a long ride, and you can have a very fun time should you come with the right perspective. You’re on vacation, obtain the most out of your trip.
